A Jewish young man, the death of his grandmother, depression, Hare Krishnas, Passover, and potato knishes. Federico is in his mid-twenties and lives alone in a Buenos Aires apartment. He splits up with his girlfriend Magda, on the day that his grandmother dies. He meets a new love interest, Shakti, and invites her to dinner. A microcosm of Argentine society, which Rejtman deciphers in carefully composed images with a sparsely told story and a directing approach in defiance of retro realism. ( Source )
