Terefu and Her Children

In 1991, the Israeli government brought thousands of Jewish people from Ethiopia to Israel to escape political, social and economic persecution. Terefu Besefakad, her husband, and her children were among the many. The adult children weigh in on who they are - Ethiopian, Israeli and Jewish, what might have been if they stayed in their home country, and where they belong in a society that has yet to fully embrace them.
