Monumento
In 1996, the National Congress of Argentina published Act 24.636, which provides for the construction of the national monument to the victims of the Holocaust. Twenty years after the enactment of the law, this monument is finally finished. Using several testimonies and documentation director Fernando Diaz describes the intricate bureaucratic process and the determination of those who were involved. The work of the Architects Gustavo Nielsen and Sebastian Marsiglia symbolizes the need to keep alive the memory of one of the most heinous acts in the history of mankind. |
