Two men meet in a Buenos Aires cafe in 1960. The act strangely, they say odd things. For instance, they decide to speak English, though both appear to be German. We don’t know why. They have a lovely cup of coffee each and a fantastic alfajor. Slowly we realise that they are Nazis on the run and finally their identities and their very different fates are revealed.
