Amazing Grace

“Amazing Grace” is a story about perseverance. The daughter of Polish immigrants, Grace Day grew up in a small town in Iowa working in her father’s shoe store with the dream of something more. When she decided to attend law school, she was the lone woman in her law school class in 1948 and endured torment from her male students and professors who felt women did not belong in the legal industry. Undeterred, she became a successful family law lawyer in Northwest Missouri helping countless families and winning numerous accolades. She became a leader in B’Nai Brith International as President of its Women’s Group. You’ll fall in love with Grace Day, a woman who won over her enemies and blazed a path for future women lawyers.
