The Ten Plagues

Poster for The Ten Plagues As Shayna journeys from Brooklyn to the Upper East Side for her family's Passover Seder, she encounters the Ten Plagues. As the modern-day Plagues descend upon her, Shayna grapples with ambivalence about going to the Passover Seder. Her overbearing family will be there, as will the maddeningly perfect and delightfully evil cousin Blair. It's a world where she feels out of place and disconnected from Jewish traditions. Her only hope is that the arrestingly handsome Judd will be there. However, increasingly, she feels the pressure to conform to her family's high expectations. A comedy of belonging and identity, The Ten Plagues is a short film about the real plagues that hold us back... or set us free.
