The Night of Fools
November, 1942: Allied forces launch Operation Torch, a joint British American invasion of French North Africa. Simultaneously, 400 Algerian Jews, fearing for their lives, hatch an improbable plan to overthrow their Nazi-sympathizing Vichy occupiers. Have they covered all targets? Governor? Check. Chief of police? Check. Commander of the Army? Check. Night falls. Will history remember the resistors as heroes or fools?
