My Father’s Son / Ben Avi

Ben-Zion is the son of the well-known Eliezer Ben-Yehudah, the driving force behind the revival of the Hebrew language. While his father is using him as a case study to show everyone that a child can survive without any language other than Hebrew, Ben-Zion is miserable because he is not allowed to speak Ladino (Judaeo-Spanish) like the other Jewish children of Jerusalem.
