The documentary „Arik Brauer – A youth in Vienna“ portrays the artist Brauer. He tells the story of his childhood in the Viennese working-class district Ottakring, the surviving strategies he developed as a Jewish child during the NS-era and his life as a young adult during the post-war period, when he co-founded the „Vienna School of Fantastic Realism“.
