The Eleventh Day
In 1972 the world was shocked by the news that members of the Israeli Olympic Team had been taken hostage by Palestinian terrorists. Eleven hostages, one German policeman, and five terrorists were killed during the tragic events. For the first time, seven surviving Israeli team members, who witnessed the terrorist attack on the eleventh day of the Olympic Games in Munich first-hand, are telling the story about their own narrow escape. They talk about the dramatic hours forty years ago, the memorial service, their ambiguous return to Israel, and their changed lives afterwards.
