One of Seven

A journalist and film critic who sets out to make a documentary about the Holocaust and North African Jews ends up turning the camera on himself and the mother of his six siblings. Pinto's candid inquiry into religious identity, ethnicity, and his own homosexuality reveals poignant truths about estrangement and exclusion, whether in family or a fragmented Israeli society.
