' - The Jewish Contingent Refugees' is a documentary film that tells the story of young Jews who immigrated to Germany as children from the former Soviet Union. The film takes the audience on a journey through the lives of Lena, Swetlana and Ilia, who had to overcome many challenges in a new country, before they learned how to combine three cultures into their lives. The film also talks about the difference between Jewish life in the former Soviet Union and life as a Jewish person in today's Germany and explains why Jewish families immigrated to Germany forty six years after the end of the Holocaust.
