Paris Return

In this gentle, wryly humorous observational documentary, an aging Parisian gay couple squabble and share a playful repartee as ill health starts to slow the elder partner. Successful architects who met as students and fell in love, Reoven and Pierluigi have lived together for decades. At 75, the gloomy Reoven is convinced death is near and longs to return home to Israel for his final days, despite the anti-gay attitudes he left behind. Pierluigi, perpetually sunny and ten years younger, resists the idea of pulling up stakes to leave a charmed life in an exquisite rooftop apartment overlooking the Louvre.
