Yolki Palki

This moving and frank portrait of one of Israel’s largest immigration waves explores the experiences of a vibrant group of Russians who relocated to Israel with director Alexander Gentelev in the early nineties. While mostly content with their new circumstances, they are yet to regain their former professional standings. A lively group of intellectuals, artists, and professionals look back on their pilgrimage with humor and aplomb.
