Tell Your Children

This movie in five minutes tells the story of the 1945 January mass murders by the Arrow Cross at the Danube bank. Locations: Pest side lower embankment, where during a weekday night, hundreds of Hungarian citizens - among them elderly, women and children - are lined up to await a shot in the back of the head. Only a few armed Arrow Cross members are standing guard. The bodies of the secretly assassinated people, robbed of not only their valuables but, at the end, their shoes as well, fall into the river and float southward among the blocks of ice.
