The Cummington Story

This dramatized film by the United States Information Service depicts the integration of World War II refugees into the small town of Cummington, Massachusetts. The film was an effort by the U.S. government to encourage acceptance of refugees and to show how a small town gradually integrated them into the community after initial reluctance. The music was composed by Aaron Copeland.
