Joel Grey is 88 years old today. His most famous role was the Master of Ceremonies in the 1972 movie Cabaret, for which he won the Oscar, the Golden Globe and BAFTA awards too. He played in 50 TV series and a few dozen movies too. He is also a stage actor spanning 2 dozen plays in over 67 years. For example the album for the production of the Chicago musical he was part of won a Grammy. Last year he directed Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish. His daughter is Jennifer Grey from Dirty Dancing and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
