San Francisco film festival groups learn to live together as building owners

[Steve Oliver] was a key player in the groundbreaking deal that enabled a consortium of vital San Francisco nonprofit film and media arts groups — including Frameline, the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival and San Francisco Asian American International Film Festival — to buy a building on Ninth Street at the turn of the last millennium. It provided them a permanent home in this high-priced city and created a collaborative hub that has benefited the organizations and the audiences they serve.
